How long does it take to travel to cape town from johannesbourg? whats the best means of transport in Jo'burg?

How long does it take to travel by road from Johannesbourg to cape town? And what are the best sight seeing joints in Johannesbourg?

It takes 14 hours to drive from Cape Town and Johannesburg. The best way to get around is in your own car…public transport is really poor there.

Nelson Mandela square it really great to see because It has a historic meaning but also has some really great places to eat. Nice clubs to go to: Manhattans (in Rivonia); Roxy's (in Melville) they have great live events there; Night Fever (in Fourways)…there are so many places. Try going to one of the botanical gardens…they are wonderful for picnics.

There is so much to do there so have fun!!!

There is alot to do is Joburg, as far as sight seeing is concerned. Mmmm.. go to the lionpark and play with cubs. Go clubbing. Go to the roodepoort botanical gardens. go to hartebeespoort dam and enjoy a day on the water…

Why would you want to leave Cape Town?

All the night life you could ever want you will find in and around CT.

If you have to go, and are hiring a car, don't drive – take a coach ride, train ride or fly and hire a car when you get there. Don't try and use the public transport its hopelessly inadequate.

The bests sights are outside of Johannesburg, The game parks are about 4 – 5 hours drive away or go to the escarpment slightly further northish.
