A question I have about the top 10 wine producing countries in the world?

1. France
2. Italy
3. Spain
4. US
5. Argentina
6. Australia
7. China
8. South Africa
9. Chile
10. Germany

OK so here is the question, has anybody ever seen a wine bottle from China? I love going to the wine section in stores to browse around, and I can confidently say that I have never seen any wine bottle that is from China. I don't even know where the wine producing region in China is. Just though I'd share my confusion.

If the list is accurate, you are correct. I've been to many supermarkets, and for cultural reasons only, I've been to the wine section. Never have I seen a single Chinese wine. That's weird… Australia too?

  I'm surprised Portugal isn't on that list.

  Would you really want to drink wine from China considering what we know about their lack of quality control?

  China is the biggest cigarette producer in the world yet we never see their cigs …because they are for domestic consumption. Wine would be the same.

  they drink rice wine. in japan they call it sake. don't know if they ever use grapes.
